Arashiyama Bamboo Path (嵐山月灯路)

The iconic bamboo grove will be illuminated, with a 1km path of lights stretching across the Arashiyama area. Free viewing zones include the Togetsukyo Bridge, Sagano shopping street, and the bamboo grove. This year, a paid zone will debut within the grove, offering a deeper immersive experience

Held at the usually closed Tōrin-in Temple, this event features a candlelit dry landscape garden and illuminated Zen phrases formed with lanterns. A serene and mystical experience.

Kaikai YOKAI Festival (怪々YOKAI祭 at Toei Kyoto Studio Park)

This autumn, the studio park transforms into a yokai village. Events include the Uzumasa Hyakki Yagyo parade, yokai greetings, ghost story gatherings, and the International Yokai Summit. Dance, play, and become one of the yokai!

Uzumasa Edo Sake Night (太秦江戸酒場)

A refined night festival for adults, held in the Edo-style streets of the studio park. Enjoy the elegant oiran procession, fine sake and cuisine, and traditional performances. This year’s theme: “Dreams of the Blooming Oiran.”

Autumn Treasures Exhibition (秋季名宝展 at Daikaku-ji Temple)

A special exhibition of temple treasures passed down from the Heian to Edo periods. Highlights include the Five Great Wisdom Kings statues, the “Kaede Momo Take” sliding door paintings, and the legendary sword “Hizamaru.”
